Choose your party theme
Set your party date and time
Create your guest list
Decide where you are going to have your party.
If it is at Spur, make sure you phone beforehand
and book
If you are going to hire entertainment (live
performers, jumping castle, etc), book it now
If you are sending paper invitations,
order them now or design your own on
the Spur Secret Tribe website
6 WEEKS BEFORE

Plan your menu and party décor
3 WEEKS BEFORE





Send out invitations
Buy the décor
Decide on the games you are going
to play and buy any necessary supplies
Order goodie bags
If someone else is making the birthday
cake, order it now
1 WEEK BEFORE





Buy all non-perishable food and drinks
Tip: If you plan to make the birthday cake
but you’re very busy, bake it now, then freeze
it (without the icing)
Put goodie bags together
Plan games and activities
Contact guests who haven’t replied and find
out if they are coming
2 DAYS BEFORE



Purchase perishable foods
If you’re having the party at home, clean the house
and stock up on clean towels and toilet paper
Check your camera is charged and ready to go




Prepare food that can be kept in
the fridge
Defrost the cake and decorate
Put drinks in the fridge
Set up games and activities
Hang party decorations
DAY OF THE PARTY








Prepare last-minute food
Set up dessert table
Buy ice and balloons
Pick up the cake (if you ordered one)
Set up gifts table
Set up food table
Put up last-minute decorations
Get yourself and the birthday boy
