See what other residencies Storytree Theatre has done here!

All of the examples below were created specifically to meet each individual
teacher’s specific needs. ELE Experiences are not limited to those listed
below….
3rd Grade Social Studies and Language Arts: Revolutionary War
Students focus on SC Learner Standards about the causes of the
Revolutionary War—including Stamp Act, Intolerable Acts, and Tea
Act/Boston Tea Party. Residency results in original plays created and
performed by students.
3rd Grade Language Arts: Fables, Folklores and Myths:
Stories were meant to be performed (and created)! Students learn contrast
and compare while learning popular fables, folklores and myths. Students
not only perform their stories, they also add their own twists.
4th Grade Science and Language Arts: Heredity
Students combine the characters of Charlotte’s Web and with inheriting
physical family traits. What Wilbur and Charlotte’s children looked like?
How might they behave? Why? Students combine that knowledge and
create an original script.
6th Grade Social Studies: Feudal System/Catholic Hierarchy and
Language Arts
Students learn about the similarities between the hierarchy of the feudal
system and the Catholic Church through role playing, costume designing
and performance. An additional bonus is the conversation of st atus within
their own middle school social hierarchy.
Science and Language Arts: Periodic Table: How do Noble Gases react
with each other? How does Water react with Potassium? These
concepts/relationships and more are explored through the student created
scripts that are performed.
