Race Rules








Competitors must be at the competing age of Under 9 up to and including Under 15.
All competitors must be current financial and current proficient members of a SLSC of SLSA.
Club caps must be worn
Pink Hi-vis rash shirt must be worn
All competitors must be marked with an official race number/age group.
No outside assistance or individual escorts allowed.
Competitors not rounding all markers on the course will be disqualified.
The course will be set according to surf conditions by the carnival referee and posted in the registration area
and may be subject to change according to the conditions on the day by the Carnival referee.

Three Board relays - 3 competitors per team.
All team members must be from the same club and competed in an individual event. Teams may consist of all boys, all girls or a
combination of boys and girls. Teams must be made up within the following age groups:
U9’s/ U10’s,
U11’s/ U12’s and U13’s
U14’s/U15’s.
Event Prizes – 4 Gardner Boards to be won
A trophy for 1-2-3 placing’s as well as other prizes. This may include merchandise and gift cards.
LUCKY DRAW PRIZES
All individual competitors and teams who participated and are in attendance at the presentation will go into a draw for
a Gardner Surf Board. Individual competitors and teams must be present to claim the individual and team board prize in
person. If the individual winner or team is not present at the time of drawing, then the draw will continue until the
respective prize is claimed in person. There will be four draws as below with the prize as listed:
