TODAY’S READINGS
First Reading — There is no salvation through anyone
else (Acts 4:8-12).
Psalm — The stone rejected by the builders has become
the cornerstone (Psalm 118).
Second Reading — See what love the Father has bestowed
on us that we may be called the children of God (1 John
3:1-2).
Gospel — The good shepherd lays down his life for the
sheep (John 10:11-18).
* ***Annual Diocesan Appeal—-As of April 20, Our
Lady of Fatima parish has pledged $22,900 to the
Bishop’s Stewardship Appeal. Seventy-four families
have pledged this portion of our $33,000 goal. With
just a few more families pledging, we will come closer
to our goal. Please prayerfully consider sending in a
pledge to this appeal which helps so many people in our
diocese. There are pledge cards, envelopes, and brochures in the pews or in the vestibule of the church. A
sincere thank you to all families for their pledges.

**”Favors of Fatima” Cookbooks—After Masses on
the weekend of May 2/3, the Youth group will be selling the “Favors of Fatima” cookbooks at a great reduced
price $10 each or 2 for $16. These will make a great gift
for Mom. Your participation is appreciated.


** Little Flower of Jesus Church Annual Crawfish Boil
and Raffle will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015. From
11am—4:00 pm. At the school, 610 S. 16th St. Monroe.
Cost is $15 for a plate with corn & potatoes. Add Pork
