TaG 125 Tyres
Recommendation from Management Committee as follows:
1.
Central Zone leave as is due to the last round being in a few weeks
time.
2.
Southern Zone leave as is (only 1 more round to go after the long
weekend).
3.
Northern Zone - Change the State Regulations to allow them to use MG
Yellows for rounds 4 and 5 should they wish.
4.
Club Days optional to clubs – must be listed in the sup regs for the race
meetings.
5.
Major Invitation Meetings - We have had approval if a club wishes to run
the MG Yellow tyre in TaG 125. It will just need to be listed in the sup
regs for that meeting.
6.
State Championships 2016 leave as is.
7.
Discussion on the tyres for the TaG 125 class for 2017 to be held at our
AGM and a decision for all race meetings be made then.
Northern clubs have agreed to remain on MG Red/White for the remainder of the
Northern Zone Series rather than change to MG Yellow.
No State Regulations are required to be changed.
Constitution
Discussion on timeline for changes to the Constitution. No changes will be done
at the 2016 AGM. The entire Constitution will be reviewed and modified to
ensure it complies with the new 2015 Associations Act. Plan is to have draft
sent to the clubs in the first half of the new year and final version submitted for
approval at the 2017 AGM. DSR are looking at how they can provide assistance
to the State and Clubs.
KA AGM
Gary Light provided some further information on what occurred with the AGM
Notification, Proxy Vote and today’s Media Release.
Introduction of New Tyres
KA are aware of the issues and concerns of Karting WA. To help with statistical
info on the introduction of the new tyres. If clubs have any members leave
because of the increased costs could they please let Karting WA know with
names and license number?
Meeting finished at 8.15pm
