Students on the "A/B" Honor Roll or "All E" Honor Roll for first quarter can get a free ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket. Listen with your ears, eyes and heart. th National Elementary Honor Society The Twin Lakes chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) will induct new members on Nov. 10th in the TLAE cafeteria . A reception sponsored by Publix will follow. Students in grades 4 and 5 who have an "A" in conduct and "all As" in academic subjects for the first quarter will be invited to apply for membership. Students must maintain a 3.5 in academic subjects, an "A" in Conduct and show service to school and community to maintain membership. Ms. Cornwell worked in the TLAE extended day program while she earned her Bachelors in Education from UNF. Upon graduation, she was offered a teaching position here. Over the past 9 years she has taught 2nd or 3rd grade, and currently teaches 3rd gr. math and science. Educating children has always been her passion. Habit 6 – Synergize Work together to achieve more. Value other’s strengths and learn from them. Be humble.. Value and celebrate differences.. Be a problem solver. Think outside the box.. It’s not your way or my way, but a better or new way. Value and celebrate diversity. Develop teamwork. Exercise your mind. When she’s not in school, Ms. Cornwell spends time with her husband Chad and 4 year old daughter Katelyn enjoying outdoor activities, games and finding new things to do around Jacksonville. Ms. Cornwell also enjoys sewing, painting and embroidering. Remember—we are a uniform school. Wear yours with pride.
