Extra Credit Project
Due: _________________________
Points: Up to 25 points
What’s a pair?
Two
What’s a dozen? Twelve
What’s a mole? 6.02 x1023
Just like a pair and a dozen, a mole is a word that equals a number, but this
number is so large that a mole of anything is difficult to imagine. Your mission,
should you choose to accept it, is to use the internet and your problem solving
skills to illustrate the size of a mole.
You will be assigned a mole problem. You will present your problem on an
11”x18” poster that displays the question, your solution to the problem, and a
picture depicting the problem. Additional research will be necessary. You must
also include all data collected or facts determined doing research. Your poster
should display a high level of creativity and effort.
