USER GUIDE - REIDBOX REBATE (Page 1)
Apply a water based form release agent (such as Nox-crete
PCE) over entire Reidbox. Punch out holes at the required
centre spacings using a hammer and chisel/screwdriver or
similar. DO NOT punch out all holes as concrete will enter the
Reidbox and fill the rebate with concrete.
Peel off orange back cover and remove hole punches.
Pass bolt through hole from inside of Reidbox.
Put rubber washer over bolt thread from outside of Reidbox.

Screw Reidbar fitting onto bolt on outside of Reidbox until
hand tight. Check fitting is held securely and tighten further if
required. Repeat for each fitting/hole. Once complete there
should be no holes without a fitting attached.
Re-affix orange back cover of Reidbox, ensuring all edges are
snapped on securely to prevent concrete slurry ingress.
Place assembled Reidbox into position with tie-wire, tying to
surrounding reinforcement, or simply nail the Reidbox to the
formwork.
Following concrete pour, remove orange back cover and unscrew plastic bolts using a ratchet and 27mm socket. Remove
Reidbox body using a crowbar or lever arm. Screw in Reidbar
Starter bars a minimum of 5 turns by hand or use a Reidbar
Swiftdrive fitting for electric drills (12 and 16mm sizes only).
