Application process
Starting point – how to start, what to take into account?
• Start early: Foundations 1 month, Academy of Finland min. 3 months, Structural Funds
min. 3 months, Horizon 2020 6 months before the deadline
• Participate info sessions and trainings, see Researsch Services intra (e.g. Developing
competitive proposals for collaborative research projects in Horizon 2020 in November)
• Analyse the call text
• Read guidelines carefully
Consortium – how to find right partners or team?
Proposal development – what is expected to be in the application?
• Ask help and comments: Research Services, Faculty staff, financial secretaries,
supervisors, colleagues
Submission – how to do it successfully?
