Drinks Menu - the Hillary Step

Real Ale On Draught
When choosing our real ales we try to think local! There are a myriad of micro-breweries
in and around Greater Manchester so variety is always guaranteed. Occasionally there are
renowned beers from further afield that we like to offer, so these also find their way onto
the bar. We have five cask ale handpulls, 3 of which are dedicated to particular breweries.
These can change but for now are:
First Chop Brewing Arm
Salford, Greater Manchester
Red Willow
Macclesfield, Cheshire
Thornbridge Hall
Bakewell, Derbyshire
These breweries all offer a good portfolio of beers and we try to rotate our way through all
of them - in time!
With the other two pumps we like to supply you with an array of guest beers, one pump an
under 4% and the other an over 4%, golden and non-golden.
Guest breweries that have supplied us in the past include:
Abbeydale, Acorn, Brightside, Buxton, Castle Rock,
Conwy, Copper Dragon, Dark Star, Dunham Massey,
Hawkshead, Hornbeam, Lancaster, Little Valley, Magic
Rock, Millstone, Mobberley, Northern Monk, Oakham,
Otter, Pictish, Purple Moose, Runaway, Saltaire, Seven
Brothers, Shindigger, Tatton, Vocation, York.
