Page 1 of 5 How to Download Office 365 on Home Personal Computer (PC) For Employees and Students IMPORTANT: To install Office 2013 on a PC it must meet these requirements. At least Windows 7 or higher 1 GB of RAM 3 GB available hard drive space The Office 2013 Apps are Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher and OneNote How do I check the system requirements on a PC? 1. Right click on the COMPUTER icon (on the desktop). 2. From the menu choose PROPERTIES. 3. A box similar to this will appear on the screen. 4. The version of Windows and memory information is listed. 5. To close the box click the red X button in top right corner of the box. In the first field type your full email address Example: [email protected] 3. In the second field type your computer login password It will be the password you use to login to your computer 4. Click the SIGN IN button. 5. You may get a second box asking you to login again. 6. If so, Name: firstname.lastname Password: computer login password 7. Click the Log In button. 8. Once logged in, click the icon in the top right corner. 9. On the drop down menu, choose Office 365 Settings. 10. When the Office 365 Settings page appears, click on Software. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, etc.) 12. If prompted, please accept the download. You will see the download begin, as shown in the pictures below. 13. Once the download is complete, you can click on it to run the installer. The installer will open up automatically and begin installing Office 2013 in the background. 14. You will be prompted by a window that looks similar to this image. 15. Once you receive the welcome page for Office 2013, click Next to continue. 16. Follow the directions and prompts on the screen. 17. Once the install is complete you see this message “You have now completed the Office 365 installation”. To make sure the installation is complete and Office 2013 is ready open the start menu and choose All Programs. 20. Look for the Microsoft Office 2013 folder. 21. Sign in to Office 365. 2. Once logged in, click the icon in the top right corner. 3. On the drop down menu, choose Office 365 Settings. 4. When the Office 365 Settings page appears, click on Software. 5.
