Due: Vocabulary Words and Multiple Choice Analysis, Week 1. If you wish to participate in the Poetry Out Loud
competition, submit the full text of your poem, with your name and class period in the upper right corner.
Memorized class performances with be on February 1.
Introduction to Invisible Man. Discussion of the Prologue. Clarification of Character Chart (distributed last Friday).

Vocabulary Week 2 due Friday. Please bring your Invisible Man text and your vocabulary spiral to class
every day, until the end of the unit. Read Chapter 1 of Invisible Man.

Multiple Choice Practice (we’ll do this once a week, you receive 20 points for the completion). These will be
completed during class. If you are absent you must complete this on your own and turn it in (with an odd-turn-in
sheet) within one day of your return.
