Christmas Centerpieces Made From Glass Squares

Christmas Centerpieces Made From
Glass Squares
Add lights, snow, a little paint, and glittery baubles to a glass block
for a sparkly centerpiece for your Christmas table!
Materials:
Krafty Blocks by Darice (These already have holes drilled in them. Otherwise you need a drill to make
a 3/4” hole near one corner.)
artificial snow
sequined balls, ornaments small enough to go through the hole
silk flowers to use to surround the outside if wanted
green enamel paint marker
clear plate
old toothbrush
2 1/2” wired ribbon
two 6” pieces of 24 gauge wire
35 bulb light strand (battery operated if no plug is near where the centerpiece will be sitting)
Instructions:
1. Use the toothbrush to dab the artificial snow around the side and top. You don't have to use a
lot, just to give the illusion of frost. Let it dry.
2. Draw a Christmas tree or other design on the block.
3. Add 3 – 4 of the sequined balls to the inside of the block.
4. Thread the light strand through the hole leaving the plug outside.
5. Place the block on the plate.
6. Make a bow with the ribbon. Tie it with one piece of the wire.
7. Surround the block with more sequined balls or flowers and the bow.
