Issue: Response Charts Not
Displaying
Some instructors who permit students to use both hardware
clickers and ResponseWare in their classrooms have reported
experiencing issues with the response charts displaying after
closing polling during PowerPoint Polling sessions. Students
using ResponseWare are able to see the charts but the
instructor’s computer running the PowerPoint Polling slideshow
does not display the charts, and therefore the image projected
for the class does not display the charts.
This functionality in the software occurs to preserve data
integrity of the polling results. Once polling is closed,
PowerPoint immediately requests the results from Turning
Point’s servers but if there are any responses still being
processed from ResponseWare users, the results will not
display in the graphs as a precaution against displaying
incomplete data.
Follow the step below to work around this issue.
Click the “Show Original Graph”
button on the Turning Point Show

In order for the results to be displayed on the Polling Slide
after the results have been fully processed (just a few
seconds), click the Show Original Graph button on the Turning
Point Show Bar. This will refresh the chart within PowerPoint
and the response charts will display.
