Comments: I had a wonderful surgeon, Dr. Adam Goldstein. My first impression of him was that he
knew what he was talking about. What I liked most was the way he explained everything to both my
wife and me. He was very detailed with how he explained how everything was going to happen from
beginning to end, every step of the way including what aftercare was involved. I was very comfortable
with his approach.
When I lost enough weight, it was amazing how the body aches and pains went away and then the
medications went away. I was getting healthier and healthier! My energy level is high and my wife is
sure happy about that!
Socially, I am pretty low key but the people who knew me weren’t as low key with how surprised they
were at seeing how I transformed.
With all that has changed, I have to say that it was the little things that many people take for granted
that changed my life like being able to bend over to tie my shoes, being able to wash my own back, and
being able to be attentive to my person hygiene. Those and other small things in life have made a big
difference.
And now from Migdalia, Clifton’s wife:
Wow, this surgery literally saved my husband’s life. He was very sick with an enlarged heart, diabetes,
high blood pressure, and cholesterol. He was really in bad shape. I highly recommend this surgery and
Dr. Goldstein is an amazing doctor. This year (2014) marks the second year anniversary of Cliff's surgery.
He lost another 25 pounds, a total of 145 pounds. He was 333 pounds when he started. Now he's
weighing 188 pounds. His waist was 46 and now his waist is 32 inches. To be honest, I never thought my
husband would get this small!! Needless to say, he looks amazing and his health couldn't be better. Dr.
Goldstein, Cliff and I want to say thank you to you, Kelly my dietitian, and your team for a new and
better way of life.
