About Our School
I.S. 230 is comprised of three academies: Business & Finance, Law & Government, and
Environmental Science. Students enjoy the real-world experience that each academy
provides. Additionally, we provide activities that engage, challenge, and stimulate
students. Parents appreciate that we are a nurturing school. They are also excited
about our challenging academic curricula and supportive teachers. We are a Magnet
School for Civics in the Community and focus on creating citizens who contribute to
their community.
