All participants are required to wear a PFD with whistle attached.
In consideration for the right of participation and consideration, the participant waives all rights and claims
against the officers, committee members, individuals, organizations and officials sponsoring or working at the
given race and events and landowners whose land borders the Susquehanna River. The participant
acknowledges that the above stated assume no responsibility for accidents, injuries or damage to or loss of
equipment or property prior to, during, or after the event. The participant parents of children under 18 years
of age hereby agree to hold said officers, committee members, individuals, organizations and landowners
harmless from any claims of said minors and attest to the swimming ability, with or without life preservers of
said minor. All participants must sign an Insurance Waiver and Release of Liability on race day at the
registration pavilion in order to participate in the Susquehanna Heritage Flatwater Challenge.
