Michael Joseph Jackson By Nick Kelly Michael Joseph Jackson was an American singer, song writer, record producer, dancer, actor, and philanthropist. It has also been described as an English martial art. Sport of the Month – EXTREME IRONING By Nick Kelly Extreme ironing is an extreme sport in which people take ironing boards to exotic places and iron clothing. The Hawaiian monk seal is one of the two remaining monk seal species; the other is the Mediterranean monk seal. A third species, the Caribbean monk seal, is extinct. The Hawaiian monk seal is the only seal native to Hawaii, and, along with the Hawaiian hoary bat, is one of the only two mammals native to the islands. An Arizona “Did you Know?” By Landon LaCross 1. There are 3 competitions that take place at each school, and whichever team earns the most points gets to go to the district level competition. There, winning school teams compete against all other winning school teams. Arrowhead’s winning team members, representing us at the district level, are Isabella Cairns, Erin Stanton and Alexis Cairns.
