(Four Square / Liquorland) As an HR Business Partner you will be working in a future-focused People & Capability team responsible for leading and executing the strategic people plan to empower a high performing culture, and build capability within FSNI (Foodstuffs North Island). Working as a trusted Business Partner to Four Square & Liquorland, you will proactively find solutions that enable positive business outcomes that align to our consumer brand. Our key objective is to ensure we enable our leaders and people to be the best they can be, motivated and high performing. Who you report to You report to the Senior HR Manager within the People & Capability team. What you’re responsible for Establishing credibility as a trusted partner, coach and influencer to the Four Square and Liquorland ‘brands’ to help ensure good people decisions are made, minimum standards adhered to, and people get home safely every day. Operating as an advisor to the Four Square and Liquorland brands (including their committees) to provide strategic insight and advice to drive their people strategy and employment brands. Partnering with owners across Four Square and Liquorland to deliver excellence across end to end HR needs. You will enable them to drive engagement, performance, and culture across banners. You will lead and participate in delivering initiatives across the People & Capability strategic plan with an “enterprise”, and “agile” mind-set, that delivers simplicity and meaning to the business. Supporting people and data metrics that are simple and effective in enabling informed decisions. You will help engage the business across a range of holistic HR activity including championing HR skills in stores, annual store reviews, and partner with EMA to help ensure stores HR needs are met. Championing & role modelling leadership in the business and within the People & Capability team. What skills and experience you need You will have a strong track record in strategic HR roles preferably in medium to large enterprises. Ideally you will have experience in a retail, or customer focused organisation. You will have a collaborative working style yet be able to stand on your own two feet You will be a doer, capable of speedily delivering high volumes of quality work, yet also be flexible and able respond to incoming requests. You will be curious, and keen to learn more, and constantly looking at what’s possible Experience in operating as a trusted advisor to senior management, influencing decision-making or business outcomes High level of coaching and leadership capabilities Practical commercial understanding with an appreciation for return on investment of HR support or initiatives. Sound ER and IR skills, including investigating employee related complaints.
