Clean water and air aren’t guarantees. Recently, coal ash and other industrial
pollutants have raised concerns about the safety of NC’s water and air. Every day,
EarthShare NC nonprofits are monitoring our water and air, reporting problems, and
promoting practices that keep our drinking water clean and our air safe to breathe.
This reduces the risk of asthma, cancer, and other health problems.
