Science may seem to be mystery, it’s like a strange thing happening around us, but in real sense science is all
about observing the nature and exploring how things work. It’s all about the curiosity for how? Where? and why?
Let’s enjoy and investigate the science behind germination of seeds……………
(1) Soak gram or bean seeds overnight and the next day sow these seeds in a small pot. After 2 – 3 days you will
see some change.Click the photograph of your germinating seed at each stage till it grows into young sapling or
when you observe any change. Paste the photograph, write about each stage and also do mention the day and date
of each stage in your scrap book. After one month click a beautiful photograph with your plant and paste it in the
scrap book.
(2) Collect five pictures related to different diseases of human beings, Paste them in your scrap book and write the
names of the diseases and their causes.
(3) Collect pictures of different types of seeds with hair, wings, hooks and spines. Paste them in a scrap book and
write few lines about them.
(4) Read the nutritional information printed on at least five packed food items like bread, milk, chocolates etc.
