We are looking forward to continued success with the programs and great achievements from these students. Thanks to Coach Tyler and Coach Hawthorne for working to make these activities a success. Seventh grade students journeyed to Austin Monday. They visited the Bob Bullock Museum of Texas History where they saw first-hand documents and artifacts they have studied. They also were able to see the process of government in action as they sat in the gallery of the senate and listened to senators debate House Bill 5. This was amazing for them to hear our representatives discuss state assessment and campus and district rankings. They also saw reporters and supporters in the gallery recording the events.
