For 11 years, the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation has
invested $335,000 in grant funding to provide support to
help struggling Nassau County students succeed in school and
prepare for life.
Through the Jaguars' Honor Rows Program, CIS Nassau children earned
free seats to a Jaguars game, lunch, and fan apparel by achieving
academic, health, and community service goals. During the game owners
Ann and Shahid Khan, the team and fans celebrated the children's
accomplishments.
The Jaguars, in partnership with Winn-Dixie and Second Harvest Food Bank,
provided fresh foods and gift cards so that CIS Nassau youth in need could enjoy
holiday meals with their families.
The Jaguars gave over 2,000 brand-new books to CIS children build their
own personal libraries through a partnership with First Book and donated
$7,000+ in fan apparel as gifts to CIS children and volunteers.
Together, CIS Nassau and the Jacksonville Jaguars "Stand United" in surrounding our most vulnerable
youth with the support they need to succeed in school and life.
