Flightscope is the premier ball launch monitor in the golf industry.
Using Doppler radar technology Flightscope tracks the flight of the golf ball in its entirety.
Flightscope measures 24 variables relating to the ball club and swing.
Flightscope is both a valuable teaching and club fitting tool. Utilized by our professionals to
better the performance of your equipment and your skills as a player.
V1 Video Software provides our professionals and students the ability to view their golf swing
at 300 frames per second. Video allows the player to see and distinguish between what they
feel and what they do in their golf swing.
Video is a valuable teaching and learning tool as it allows both the teacher and the student to
prioritize the improvement process while capturing the student performing drills, exercises and
swing to see positive change and swing improvements
Boditrack captures the golfer’s weight movement patterns in both address and through the
motion of their entire swing.
This technology compliments video by providing a detailed look at a player’s weight position
at every point in the golf swing. The position of your weight has an influence on the
efficient motion of the club through the swing, path, impact position, solid contact and direction
of the shot.
Shot By Shot is a statistical analysis program that enables players at all levels to accurately
identify the strengths and weaknesses of their game. It measures their performance in each
component of their golf game against that of a target handicap group.
It is useful for both coach and student as golfers can direct the time spent on practice towards
the appropriate components of their game, accelerating their improvement.
Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is the world’s leading educational organization and research
facility dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing.
TPI provides our professional staff with the ability to screen and diagnose your physical

St. Charles Custom Club Fitting
St. Char les Custom Club Fitting
Proper club fitting is vital to the performance of your golf game. Your Pro Shop at St. Charles offers the most comprehensive fitting
program in the province.
Fitting golf equipment is an important process for all golfers. Properly fitted clubs enhance your performance and play a significant
role in the development of your swing. Using improperly fitted golf equipment can lead to a swing of compensations to
accommodate the equipment. Fitting and instruction go hand in hand. Our fitting process and tools provide us the ability to find the
best clubs for your game, without bias to a particular brand. Our experience as instructors allows us to fit equipment that encourages
proper swing development.
We are fortunate to be the regional fitting center for Titleist, while additionally being the primary fitters in Winnipeg for Ping and
TaylorMade. This position provides us considerably more options in shafts and heads than other club fitters, making our program the
most comprehensive fitting program of any Club on the prairies. Your entire bag can be fitted, from driver to wedges.
Putter fitting is as important as the other 13 clubs in your bag...and we do that also. St. Charles is one of three EDEL putter fitters in
Canada. The EDEL system uses various putter styles and offset types to find the putter that you aim best. We measure loft, head
weight, shaft flex and counterbalancing to optimize speed control. Optimizing aim and speed control will result in more putts
dropping in the hole. www.edelgolf.com
Properly fitted equipment is essential to maximize your performance and enjoyment of the game. Please feel welcome to talk
to any of our staff for further details on our fitting programs.

St. Charles Coaching Programs
Golf is a fantastic game that provides the opportunity to
continually discover, learn and improve for as long as we play.
Embracing the challenge golf provides by enjoying the process of
learning and improvement can make for a truly rewarding experience.
Our private instruction programs provide our members the
opportunity to connect one on one with their instructor. Your
professionals are able to develop a program that suits your needs
as a player. Coaching does not end on the lesson tee, as we are
always at the Club and available to provide guidance at any time.
Your professional staff are here to coach, guide and encourage
you through the process of improvement. Our goal is to have all
of our students increase their passion and enthusiasm for the
game through improved performance.
Our group programs offer an open, informative, active and fun
learning environment. If our program schedule does not suit your
calendar, we can provide custom group programs to
accommodate those who want to learn with their fellow golfers.
Your professional staff utilizes their extensive base of education,
knowledge and experience to simplify the learning process,
providing feedback while using efficient teaching techniques and
exercises to accelerate your improvement. Working together, we
will guide you to discover your best swing, short game, and
putting stroke…not by fitting you into a “model”. Through the
process we want you to discover your natural ability and become
your own best coach.
Through our continued study and education we feel that our
professional staff provides an outstanding coaching program that
suits all ages and levels of player, from those discovering the
game for the first time to highly competitive players.

Junior Golf Program
O
ur junior program is designed to provide all ages and skill levels the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of golf now and
for a lifetime. Juniors can start in our instruction programs as early as age 5 and become members at age 9. We truly believe
that golf can become one of a child’s primary sports. It is a sport that challenges them athletically, while providing an environment
nurturing life skills such as honesty, integrity, responsibility, confidence and sportsmanship.
Our instruction program provides an avenue for beginning players to take their early footsteps into the game and extends all the way
to players who have competitive ambitions locally, provincially and nationally. Our golf events provide our juniors the opportunity
to play in individual and team competitions, while also providing fun events where score is the last thing that matters! In fact, if you
participate in all of our scheduled golf events you will have played over 40 games of golf without ever booking a tee time!
The junior program is an important component to the family atmosphere at St. Charles. We want all of our members to feel welcome
to bring their children to the club and learn the game of golf. Golf is one of the only sports where you can play with your children
and not just watch your children play. Please feel welcome to contact any of our professional staff for more information on our
Junior golf and instruction programs.

As part of our Junior Program, St. Charles is proud to offer a Family Tee program to our membership. The Family Tee program is
designed to encourage our members to introduce their children to the game of golf. This program provides a golf course set up based
on how far our young golfers can hit a golf ball. The course has BLUE and GOLD tees (plates) set into the fairway much like our
150 yard markers. Juniors starting at age 5 and up to age 12 should play these tees based on their skill level.
As part of this program, children of members aged 5 to 8 are now able to use the practice facilities and golf course when
accompanied by their parent. We ask that parents please observe the practice facility and golf course access restrictions as listed
below.
Practice Facility Permissions – Putting Green, Short game and Driving Range
Weekdays – before 11:00 am and after 6:00 pm
Weekends & Holidays – After 3:00 pm
Golf Course Usage
Weekdays after 5:30 pm
Weekends and Holidays after 4:30 pm
Must be accompanied by a parent at all times
Must keep up with the pace of play and always let faster groups play through
Club Dress Code applies. All children must be accompanied by their parent at all times.
Scorecards for Family Tees will be available in the pro shop. Parents will want to use directions to the tee areas until you are
familiar with the locations of the markers on the course.
We are excited about providing the opportunity for our members with young families another component in which to introduce their
children to the game! Please feel free to speak to any of our professional staff regarding this program.

St. Charles Country Club is pleased to announce an outstanding membership benefit which will provide Club members with the
ability to golf at a number of private country clubs across Canada without the necessity of a green fee.
In the past, an unofficial reciprocal play agreement existed among the private golf clubs of Canada, whereby, a tee time could usually
be set up with the payment of a green fee. This practice will continue for the vast majority of Clubs.
The following Clubs have agreed to, on a limited basis, provide golfing members of St. Charles Country Club with a tee time on a
complimentary basis – as will St. Charles provide for their members. The intent of these agreements is to permit full active golf
members in good standing to have full playing and clubhouse privileges at the reciprocal club, subject to the respective host club’s
local Rules, Regulations, Dress Code, Policies and Procedures. Guests are permitted with a green fee.

League
This is an inter-club event beginning in the
Spring of each year. The Club team
consists of 8 players. 4 players are
selected by the Mundie Putter League
Captain, and the others are determined by
the 4 lowest scores of the Saturday
morning. These matches are then played
every Monday evening. To enter, please
inquire at the Pro Shop or with the Mundie
Putter League Captain.
In 1993, the competition adopted the above
name in honour of the late Jim Doyle who
passed away suddenly in 1992. Ten
Winnipeg clubs compete for the
Championship on the successive Tuesday
afternoons from mid-May until mid-July.
Matches are decided on a Best Ball Stroke
Play basis - a format which assures that a
match will not be decided until the 18th
green. Each Club fields 3 teams made up
of 2 male members who have reached their
55th birthday by Sept. 1st of the current
year. Qualifying rounds may be played
any day of the week and are co-ordinated
through the Pro Shop. All senior mail
members are urged to enter this very
enjoyable weekly competition.
An inter-club event beginning in the
Spring of each year, concluding at the end
of June. The St. Charles team consists of 6
players. It is comprised of the reigning
Club Champion, 4 players selected based
on the weekly lowest handicap indexes and
a player selected by the Nassau Captain.
These matches are played every Monday
evening.
