Why are leaves green?
Leaves are green because they
have clorophyll which helps
them with photosynthesis.
What is photsynthesis?

and carbon dioxide into
oxygen and sugar. The trees
then feed on the sugar.
Why do leaves turn
brown and die?
There isn’t enough water and
daylight in the winter to feed
them. The leaves die off so the
tree doesn’t starve.
