OSCAR WIDSTRAND:
Whe1'eas, The Honorable Oscar Widstrand, a member of the
House of Representatives from the 60th District during the
sessions of 1937, 1939, 1945 and 1947, was called by Divine
Providence since adjournment of the 1947 session; and,
Whereas, he was a man of high integrity and purpose, a -SPOllSOl' of constructive legislation, representing the people of his
district at all times in an able, conscientious and loyal manner;
and,
Whereas, he was a man vitally interested in community affairs, a sincere and helpful friend, and a devoted husband and
father;
N ow, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the House of Representatives of the State of Minnesota, grieved by the loss of our
friend and former co-worker, hereby extend to his bereaved
family our deepest sympathy in the loss of their husband and
father, in this our mutual sorrow.
