Mihály Mózes Course Description The lectures and seminars will analyse: ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ the historial roots of European fascism, the economic, social, political and ideological background, and circumstances of fascist transition of Germany, the Mediterranian Area and South-Eastern Europe, the traditions and mentality of these societies, the events of fascist takeovers in Italy and in Germany the most important characteristics of „one-party” systems and the “NAZI” totalitarian state the agressivity of fascism, the road to the collapse of fascism. Readings Books and articles for reading will be provided at the beginning of the course. Assessment Written tests, oral presentations, participation and co-operation in class activities.
