Project: Network Rail IP Signalling South
Key Deliverables:
tusp were required by our Client to analyse previously undertaken lessons
learnt exercises, design a bespoke interview programme, design and
deliver bespoke workshops, ensure consistent engagement of resources
across the programme, develop a lessons learnt database and design and
deploy improved lessons learnt processes and tools.
Project Timeline:
Initial timescales for the works is 4 months.
Key Challenges:
Due to the initial timescale of 4 months this meant completing the
deliverables was tight, as well as the works being undertaken during a
holiday period. There was also a lack of engagement as a result of previous
poorly attempted improvement programmes. Resources were also heavily
engaged in project activity, so getting them into a workshop was logistically
challenging. A final challenge was the expanding workscope.
The Solution:
tusp provided a heavily facilitated improvement programme, tightly
managed workshops, focused interviews, data analysis on previous lessons
learnt exercises, engagement with other improvement programmes and
resources, design of a lessons learnt database with easy to navigate facilities,
final production of an improvement programme with clear delivery
measures, production of a presentation for delivery to the Client board to
advise on findings and forward actions.
