Healthy Eating Tips to support a Parasite Cleanse
Here are 7 healthy eating tips to help you to cleanse your body and help support and
balance it against parasites.

Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
Water helps to remove toxins from the body. Check that the colour of your
wee is a pale straw colour, which will indicate that you are well hydrated.

Aim to have 2-3 portions of fish per week
Ideally 1-2 portions to be an oily fish. Fish is a great source of
protein and oily fish contains essential fatty acids that when
eaten in small quantities can lower cholesterol.

Do not add extra salt to your food
This is good advice unless you engage in very high intensity physical
activity on a regular basis. Enough salt can be found in the food that
we eat anyway. Using various herbs and spices such as garlic, cloves,
cinnamon and nutmeg make good flavouring alternatives as well as
chopped onions and these can also help to cleanse the body of toxins.
Cut down on the sugar
Having a low sugar diet will provide parasites with less opportunity
to breed. On food labels, look for as many products as possible that
contain 5 g sugar or less per 100 g.

Get your five a day
Aim to have at least five different portions of fruit and vegetables each
day. Stick to the fruit that is low in sugar such as berries. Fruit and veg is
a great source of fibre and antioxidants, which will help cleanse the body
of toxins. Strawberries and blueberries are particularly good as they are
rich in antioxidants. Tomatoes contain a potent antioxidant called
lycopene that will remove toxins from the body.
Try homemade vegetable and fruit based smoothies
Invest in a blender and experiment by creating delicious fruit and
vegetable smoothies. This is a great tasty way of getting more fruit and
veg into your diet and smoothies are a great source of vitamins,
minerals and antioxidants.
Snack on nuts and seeds
Try snacking on nuts and seeds a couple of times per week. Unsalted
nuts are a particularly good source of essential fatty acids. Pumpkin
seeds can help remove a certain type of parasite from the body.
