6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
Paddlers arrive in Toll Bridge Park and register. One driver from each group
drives to White Wagon, Town of Chemung to leave their car.
7:00 a.m.
Breakfast begins for paddlers/drivers at Tollbridge Park for a charge
(see registration form)
8.00 a.m.
Shuttle picks up drivers at White Wagon and returns to Toll Bridge Park.
8:30 a.m.
Shuttle arrives in Toll Bridge Park with drivers.
8:30 a.m.
Safety talk and Program: “Meet the Friends of the Chemung River
Watershed,” Jim Pfiffer, Director; “Unveiling White Wagon Park Plans,”
George Richter, Town of Chemung Supervisor
9:00 a.m.
Launch from White Wagon. Chris Merola, Ranger Outfitters, a licensed
guide, will be our guide and safety person. David Buck, Endless Mountain
Outfitters, has canoes/kayaks for rent.
1:00 p.m. (approx.)
Land at the White Wagon site in Town of Chemung. People load up their
equipment on their cars and head home.

To Toll Bridge Park Launch Site, Town of Ashland: Take I-86/Route 17 East to Exit 58 Lowman. Turn
right toward Wellsburg on Route 8. turn left right before the bridge into Toll Bridge Park.
To White Wagon Launch Site, Town of Chemung: Take I-86/Route 17 East to Exit 59A Wilawana. Turn
left over the highway bridge. Drive for about a half mile and turn into the parking lot.
The Chemung Basin River Trail Partnership is a voluntary association of groups and government agencies
at all levels working together to improve and maintain public access to the Chemung River and its tributaries
and to promote watershed protection.
The Friends of the Chemung River Watershed is a newly formed not-for-profit organization of community
volunteers whose mission is to protect, preserve and promote the watershed, and to improve economic
resources, the quality of life and the natural environment for the residents of the Chemung River Watershed.

REGISTRATION FEE / INSURANCE FEE: (covers the cost of insurance for a paddling event through the
American Canoe Association as well as handouts and incidentals). Go to www.americancanoe.org and click
on “What We Do” at the top of the page. On the left, go to “Insurance” then “Affiliate Insurance” and download,
complete and sign the “ACA Adult Waiver & Release of Liability” (required) and “ACA Minor Waiver & Release
of Liability” (if needed.)
