The Centre for Business History is an organization working in the area of
corporate and industrial evolution. It is based in Stockholm and oversees the
world’s largest archives from companies and industrial organizations.
Frank Belfrage – Former State Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs & Former Swedish
Ambassador in France
Theme: Sweden and France European friendship
Frank Belfrage is a Swedish diplomat who has been stationed in numerous
offices worldwide in service of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. In his
later career, Frank Belfrage strived to improve the European integration as
State Secretary at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs at the Department for Trade,
as well as Chief Negotiator for the Swedish EU accession. Frank Belfrage also
worked as Director-General for European Affairs at the Ministry for Foreign
Affairs before becoming the Swedish Ambassador in France.

Theme: The new French Tech initiative and French Tech Ticket launch
The French Tech is an initiative supported by the French Ministry for the
Economy and Finance. Its aim is to federate a collective momentum involving as
many players as possible under the umbrella brand, to accelerate the
development of private “startup accelerators” in France and to promote startup opportunities in France abroad.
Georges Gallais, CEO, Vulog
Vulog is the European leader in the Car Sharing Technology. It was founded in
2006.
Vulog offers a range of products and services allowing mobility operators to
implement all types of car-sharing services (public, corporate, et.c.). Vulog
currently supplies its solution, an in-car technology and modular software
platform, in Europe and North America. Among Vulog’s clients are entities such as Car sharing pure
players, car rental companies, public transportation operators, car manufacturers, local authorities
and fleet managers.
Georges Gallais has a long experience from the automotive industry. Throughout his career, Georges
Gallais has worked for companies such as Renault, CARMINAT, SAGEM, IMRA Europe and Toyota
Group.
Alexandre Heraud, Investment Director, Xerys Gestion,
representing APR2 Plast
Alexandre Heraud is Investment Director at the Portfolio Management
Company Xerys Gestion. Xerys Gestion invests in companies that are at the
forefront of technology innovation in their industry. One of these
companies is APR2 Plast.
APR2 Plast was founded in 2002. Its core business is WEEE (Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment) collection and recycling. The company is
specialized in the recovery, processing and reuse of industrial plastic waste.
APR2 has developed an industrial sorting and recycling solution for plastic
that used to be considered as end waste.

Vincent BOULDOIRES, Chief Operating Officer Biolog-id
Biolog-id was founded in 2005 and is focused on the automation of routine processes and the
provision of traceability solutions for blood components, plasma fractionation and chemotherapies.
Biolog-ids' applications integrate a radio-frequency electronic tag (RFID) linked to a database, which
interacts with smart hardware. This minimizes manual handling of products, improves traceability
and allows blood centers, hospitals and chemotherapy providers to efficiently manage products right
up to the administration to the patient. The integrity of critical data is secured at any time which
gives full sage traceability and allows optimization of inventory levels throughout the entire supply
chain.
Vincent BOULDOIRES joined Biolog-id in March 2015 to drive Operations activities meaning Project
Management, Software and Hardware Development. His main task is to coordinate all activities in
relation with implementation of RFID solutions for healthcare customers (Blood Centers, Hospitals,
Industrial companies).
Denis Clodic, CEO, Cryo Pur
Denis CLODIC is President and IR&D of Cryo Pur, a company dedicated to
biogas upgrading and biomethane liquefaction. He is doctor in energy
processes of MINES ParisTech.
Thermodynamic of systems is the core of his competencies. He has written
more than 150 international conference papers and of more than 30 peerreviewed articles. He is also author and co-author of more than 60 patents,
half of them have been internationally extended making more than 600 filed patents.
Denis Clodic is co-laureate of 2007 Nobel Price for its contributions to IPCC; he is member of the
French Académie des Technologies since November 2010.
Cryo-Pur was founded in 2015 and is an innovation provided by EREIE and the most efficient solution
for biogas upgrading and biomethane liquefaction. This solution creates new possibilities for the
exploitation of biogas in the world, paving the way for the production of fuel-from-waste products.
Georges Karam, Chairman and CEO, SEQUANS Communications
Georges Karam is founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Sequans
Communications. Before founding Sequans in 2003, Georges Karam was
Vice President of cable access for Juniper Networks, running the cable
engineering and marketing departments, as well as managing the cable sales launch in EMEA.
Georges has served in a variety of Senior Management positions at Alcatel, SAGEM and Philips. He is
a senior member of IEEE, has authored numerous technical and scientific papers, and holds several
patents in digital communications. Georges is also President of AFNUM – French Association of
Digital Industries
Sequans Communications is a 4G chipmaker and leading provider of single-mode LTE chipset
solutions to wireless device manufacturers worldwide. Sequans has developed and delivered six
generations of 4G technology and its chips are certified and shipping in 4G networks, both LTE and
WiMAX, around the world. Today, Sequans offers two LTE product lines: one within the domain of
mobile computing and home/portable router devices, and one in the domain of connected devices
for the Internet of Things.
Fabienne Ostermeyer, International Development Director, Visiomed Group
Visiomed Group was founded in 2006 and is the French leader in advanced
generation of electronic medical devices. Its laboratory develops and distributes
innovative health devices in the sector of self-diagnosis for medical purposes, and
well-being.
Visiomed Group created a product that has been highly appreciated on the
health market: A thermometer easy to use, fast, accurate and non-invasive. Thermoflash is the first
instant, non-contact medical thermometer. Its functioning is based on infrared technology associated
with Visiomed’s dedicated software (specific algorithm). The device provides trustable information
that can be memorized. It has for instance been a useful tool for medical teams working to fight
against the Ebola virus.
Fabienne Ostermeyer has been with Visiomed Group since 2012. Prior to her integration at Visiomed
Group, Fabienne Ostermeyer worked as an independent consultant for private equity funds, and was
also a business angel for two start-ups. Fabienne Ostermeyer has worked as International Director
for companies such as LOUISE ENTREPRISE and OENBIOL.
Damien Morin, CEO and Founder of Save
Save (former Save my Smartphone) is a leading start-up in the mobile device
repair business. Its vision is to provide a same day repair of any connected
device around the world. Save repairs over 130 models of smartphones and
tablets. Since the founding of Save in 2013 by the 22 year-old Damien
Morin, the company has grown rapidly and employs today roughly 250
technicians, operating at 73 service stations. Last year, Save’s turnover reached 1 MEUR and the goal
for 2015 is 25 MEUR with 600 employees and 190 service stations. Save is about to expand its
business to Sweden by opening service stations in Stockholm.
Damien Morin is a European Business School Paris graduate who founded Save in 2013
