We have been working on the standard form and expanded form of numbers. Try this one! 32,857 Science — Plants! We have begun talking about plants , their parts, and their functions. We have discussed the basic needs for plants to survive. Please start thinking about your favorite Fall memory. On Tuesday, September 16th our students worked with an NKU affiliate to learn about and study flowers. All students got to see the small parts of a flower up close and personal. They discovered the seeds at the base of the flower and saw the tiny bits of pollen on the anther of the stamen. Our Grandparent’s Day celebration on Monday was amazing! We had so many wonderful grandparents at our school to celebrate with us. If your child got a picture with their grandparent we will be sending copies home soon. Here’s a few pictures for you to enjoy! Leader in Me We are continuing to work on Habit 2— Begin with the End in Mind. Please encourage your child to think about what they want to accomplish and set goals to reach it! We are always thankful for any volunteer that we can get.
