STONEMAD WORKSHOPS
Stonemad Workshops have been running in Holycross since 2005, teaching stone and wood carving,
building in stone, green wood-working, bronze and aluminium casting, creative copper work and willow
work. Throughout the summer there are weekend workshops and week-long workshops and during the
winter we have evening classes and Wednesday afternoon classes. The classes are relaxed in nature and
all participants are encouraged to work at their own pace. No experience is necessary; the workshops
are suitable for all ages and abilities. While the workshops are non-residential there is plenty of room
for camping, with cooking and shower facilities. Morning coffee and scones, lunch and afternoon tea are
provided; all prepared using fresh ingredients from our organic garden and free range hens. All
