the classroom at 5:30.

quite a collection of the new sweatshirts and

Reading
For the month of January we are going
to be reading biographies. They will read a
biography about a famous person for a week and
a half. They will then present their biography
dressed as the person. I will send home a rubric
when we return from Christmas break.
Math with Mrs. Luckey
We will begin fractions.
We will continue multiplication tests (7s) and
Mad Minutes. We will also review daily in
preparation for MAP testing.
Grammar/Language Arts
In grammar we will be working on verbs.
We will be starting future tense verbs.
We are going to start working on paragraph
writing. We will start with an opinion piece.
Science
We will be starting Chapter 3-Electricity.
We will begin with Lesson 1-How do electric
charges flow in a circuit?
Social Studies with Mrs. Lee
We will begin chapter 5-The Northeast
