Tulare County Farm Bureau
& Tulare County Office of
Education will hold a
calendar art
contest for Tulare County
students in grades K-12.
A total of 14 winners will be
selected for the 12-page, full
color calendar from the
following grade categories:
K-3, 4-6, 7-8, 9-12.
A special prize will be
awarded for the best overall
entry. Cash prizes will be
awarded at a special
presentation at the County
Board of Supervisors
Meeting in March.
The Visalia Optimist Club is
sponsoring two contests in
which our students have the
opportunity to enter:
Essay contest
“Lead by Example: Reality or
Fiction”
Entry deadline:
January 29, 2016
Oratorical contest
“How My Best Brings Out the
Best in Others”,
Entry deadline:
February 29, 2016
