Wake up early (Required) Waking up early is key to a successful morning routine. Waking up early also guarantees that you get more done before most people wake up. Most people wake up at 6 am, so our recommended time is 5 am. ❏ Go to bed at a good time ❏ Drink water ( lots of it ) ❏ Set an alarm for 5 am ❏ Think about it Plant the thought that you want to wake up early the night before. ❏ Get a partner Make an arrangement for you and a friend to call each other early. Spiritual (Do 1 of these each morning) ❏ Meditate Search for some simple guided meditations on Youtube. ❏ Pray If you are religious. ❏ Be Thankful Simply saying “thank you” for everything in your life. Physical (Do 1 of these each morning) ❏ Exercise This could be anything from pushups to gym time ❏ Take a walk Taking a walk or slow jog around the neighborhood gets the blood running. ❏ Stretch Do a series of body stretches, if no time for exercise. Mental (Do 12 of these each morning) ❏ Write down 10 ideas Exercises the mind. Will change your life every 6 months . ❏ Journal Thoughts on the life lessons you learned the day before. ❏ Read a book Get a chapter or 2 from that book you been trying to finish. Emotional (Do 1 of these each morning) ❏ Be around people you love Tell someone you love them, or find someone you need to say “thank you” to. Hug, call, email, or text.
