Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. Sprinkle chicken with 1/4 teaspoon pepper and salt. Combing cheese and cream cheese in a bowl. Combine the remaining 1/4 teaspoon pepper with breadcrumbs, parsley (or thyme) and 2 teaspoons oil in another bowl. 3. Heat the remaining 2 teaspoons oil in a large, ovenproof non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken until browned on both sides, about 2 minutes per side. Move the chicken to the centre so all pieces are touching. Spread with the cheese mixture, sprinkle with ham, then top with the bread crumb mixture. 4. Bake until the chicken is no longer pink in the centre and an instant-read thermometer registers 165°F, 5 to 7 minutes. This is a great tip to keep your oil-based salad dressings from pooling at the bottom of the bowl and keeping it on your greens. Take your dressing and heat it in the microwave for ten seconds. 2. For soup and stews, add raw cut potatoes and discard once they have cooked and absorbed the salt. 3. When pan frying or sautéing, always heat your pan before adding the butter or oil. Not even eggs stick when you use this great tip! Another good tip to keep hot oil from splattering is to sprinkle a little salt in the pan before frying. 4. When asked why he decided to come back to school he said, “I decided to come back because I was a few years beyond my personal graduation date.” Ryan is studying college level math and English. Ryan told the Gazette, “I think the Thessalon Continuing Education Centre is very well managed; the staff is great.
