April 25, 2017 - Village of Loudonville, Ohio

April 25, 2017
Welcome to the Village of Loudonville! On behalf of
the Village Council, the Village Tree Commission, and our
residents, it is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome
to all the attendees of the 2017 Tree City Awards
Program for Region 6 of the State of Ohio Department
of Natural Resources Division of Forestry.
Loudonville is very proud of its urban tree program.
Our dedicated Tree Commission has earned the Tree City
USA designation from the National Arbor Day Foundation
annually for over 25 years. Throughout these years,
they have donated countless hours planting over 820
new trees on Village public ways for all to enjoy.
The Village of Loudonville and the Loudonville Tree
Commission congratulate all the communities gathered
here today who join us in recognition of the commitment
to planting, preserving and maintaining shade trees for
the benefit of all our residents and visitors.
We hope you enjoy your visit today! We invite you
to bring your families back to enjoy the many yearround adventures that the Loudonville-Mohican Area
has to offer!
Sincerely,
Mayor Steve Stricklen
