Chapter One
Speed
Have you ever felt so happy that you thought you could beat the fastest running
animal in the world? That was probably a dream because the fastest running animal in
the world is a cheetah, and a cheetah can run 70 miles per hour (113 kilometers)! Also,
cheetahs can run 20 football fields in just 7 seconds!!! Maybe, we could have cheetah
races, but there are less than 10,000 cheetahs left. You might think that is A LOT, but
wait till you hear about their living.
Chapter Two
Living
How cheetahs live is partly up to them, and it is partly up to nature, because cheetahs
are just like humans in some ways. Cheetahs depend on the population of animals
because cheetahs are living things that need to eat, so they catch different kinds of
animals, and they try not to be caught in the act! If they were, then they could get
seriously injured by the Mom or the Dad, and the babies could get attacked and they
wouldn’t know what to do, and they could become dinner! Some animals don’t like to
eat cheetahs because of what the cheetahs eat, and that all goes in to the next chapter!
Chapter Three
Food
So this is why animals sometimes don’t like to eat cheetahs. It all depends on a
cheetah’s diet, in other words what a cheetah eats. A cheetah usually likes to eat small
antelope. The hardest food to catch is an ostrich. Female Ostriches are usually slower
than the male ostrich, so the cheetahs usually try to get the female. That’s why other
animals might not want to eat cheetahs! Now you know all the things that you need to
