Our June 9th meeting of JOY will be
held at Coyote Canyon at 6:00. We will meet in the
back room where we will have our dinner and enjoy
the fellowship as we honor Fathers. A sign up sheet

will be hosting Summer Educational
Seasons on Wednesday evenings
from 7-8:15. Watch for dates.
Topics will include: Advanced
Directives, PACE program, Palliative Care, Caregiving,
and others.

equipment to loan out to the congregation. We also

KCD NYI CAMP 2014

A registration fee of $50 must be paid at the time of
registration.
All students attending need to be
registered by July 1st with a final payment of $185 made
to “Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene” with
a memo of “KCD NYI Camp” by July 1st. All students
must be paid in full by July 1st in order to attend.
Intersect Life Groups will be moving to Sunday
nights starting June 8th. There will be no life
groups Wednesday June 4th. The summer is a
great time for our leaders and volunteers to catch
their breath and come back fresh in the
fall. Our Sunday nights will still be comprised of a
worship experience and games, but the life group
component will be added on Sunday night as
well.
You may be asking, “what will my student be
doing on Wednesday nights?”
Part of our
discipleship process is serving. This summer,
Intersect Student Ministries plans to serve our
community. We are currently working on potential partnerships. This is not a program, but a time
for us to grow relationally and demonstrate
Christ’s love to Topeka. A list of serving times
and places will be posted along with our summer
events calendar on our student webpage

We are asking all parents to pay in full online and they will be
reimbursed by the church for the amount that each child has in their
account.


Training For Media in Children’s Area:
Training on how to operate the sound equipment in
the children’s area will be on May 31st at 9:30 AM for
all those involved the children’s area or those that are
interested in learning how to operate the equipment.
