Aqueous siloxane hydrophobic treatment.
Characteristics
Impregnating, hydrophobic, high level active ingredient.
Application
For exterior use only.
Phob W is an aqueous, solvent-free, hydrophobic, silane-based material for impregnating facades made with
tiles, bricks, limestone and natural stone masonry and plaster.
All surfaces must be dry, stable, clean and free from anti-adherent residues.

Approx. 0,15 - 0,2 l/m2 per coat.

Processing
Phob W is ready for use after a quick mix.
Facade cracks, broken joints and grouts, faulty connections, capillary rising damp and/or hygroscopic
moisture and other structural damage and/or defects must be eliminated before facade impregnation.
In addition to this, grime, dirt, harmful substances and efflorescence, algae, fungus and moss must be
removed using suitable cleaning procedures. Defective grouts and cracks, expansion and connecting joints
must first be sealed, outbreaks and deformities must be corrected.
Extremely dense surfaces (e.g. fine crystalline marble, glazed tiles, etc.) are not suitable for impregnation.
Phob W is applied undiluted to the mineral-based surface in the required layer thickness
Cover neighbouring areas carefully. Wash splashes off immediately with sufficient water.
Do not use at air and structural temperatures of under +8°C, in direct sunlight, in drafts or when frost is
expected.
