Bird Walk BOM Pattern -Fabric Call-Outs featuring
River Rock Batiks
Thank you for choosing the Bird Walk pattern. The following are fabric
call-outs per block. Your participants may download these same call-outs
by going to the Material Girlfriend’s blog or website. Additional video
tutorials and instructions will be on the blog.
It is easier to give all the fabrics at the first meeting, but we know most
BOM don’t operate that way! :) So, we recommend giving all of the blocks’
background fabrics at the first month – 1 yard of Background One (08690189) and 3/4 yard of Background Two (0857-0115), plus the fat quarters
used in block one. Each month, the students will get more fat quarters. By
Month 9 they will have received all their fat quarters. So that participants
can receive fabric each month, in Month 3 give 1 fat quarter of Background
Three (0866-0189) and save the other half of the 1/2 yard for Month 11.
Month 10 can receive the sashing fabric (0869-0189). Month twelve, the
border fabric (0857-0115).
