Avarice (noun)
Hindi translation: लोभ
Meaning: Excessive greed for money
Memory Tip: Ava + rice = हवा + rich

Ameliorate (verb)
Hindi translation: सुधारना
Meaning: To improve or to lighten or to relieve
Memory Tip: Ameliorate = Ame + li + or + i + ate
= Ammi (mother) + लाई + और + I + ate
= मााँ के हाथ के खाने से सब सुधर जाता है
Use in Sentence: The literacy rate in the village was ameliorated with the two new schools.
Acrid (adjective)
Hindi translation: तीखा
Meaning: Sharp, bitter or pungent (smell or taste)
Memory Tip: ACRID – R = ACID → Acid is always bitter in smell or taste.
Use in Sentence: The acrid smell of the gunshots filled the air.
