Swami Sri Karunyananda always used to tell his followers “Do not get fascinated by Miracles.
I can’t accommodate miracles as a tool for your belief. I am not coming here to do wonder
and miracles, rather my cause is to make you feel who is standing behind all this miracles.
Your faith on me because of miracle will last no longer. I would appreciate your faith comes
by the true love which is always pouring on you. Do not think I am doing miracles. I can’t do
miracles, because I made my free will zero. Whatever you feel is automatic actions
happening by the wish of God naturally like sun arises and sets”.

Gurudev’s photograph (given below) was taken during 2009. It was a great miracle.
During Thaipoosam (2009) Gurudev planned to sit for meditation right from the morning
to evening in his home at Mayiladuthurai. So he has informed everybody (his daily
visitors) about his plan, so that they can plan to visit him accordingly. On that day he sat
for meditation around 9.45 A.M. He switched off his mobile phone. After the day passed,
evening everyone came to visit him. Since he has not come out of meditation, they all
were waiting outside his room. Around 6.30 P.M Mr. Manikandan went inside the room
and sit nearby Gurudev. After sometime Gurudev woke up, then switched on his phone
and saw the photo of him (at the meditative posture) appeared. Mr. Manikandan got
stunned, then asked Gurudev about that photo, because nobody inside the room to take
that snapshot and the phone is also powered off. Gurudev replied “Swamigal (Gurdev’s
Master) took this photo and told me about this in subtle conversation during my
meditation”. Mr. Manikandan is a professional photographer. So he took the mobile
phone and stood before the place where Gurudev sat for meditation & tried with many
angles to perceive how this photo has been taken. Finally he accepted such a photo can’t
be taken in that small room by mobile phone. Everyone amazed (including Gurudev).

Miraculous Photo of Gurudev

• Every day I used to meditate in late evening. Since my gurudev's room is so vibrant and
hot, I feel heat and warm when I meditate. When I was traveling yesterday way back to
home, I had a little thought, "how good it would be if the room is cold and chill when
meditate". Then that thought disappeared. I entered my meditation room after my routine
darshan of my gurudev. Till then the sky is clear and bright. As soon as I sit for meditation I
felt there is a heavy rain outside with chilled air getting circulated inside my meditation
room. My room is so chill and cold. Rain stopped as soon as I come out the room. I was
very happy, even though it is a minute and no value thought my beloved Gurudev is trying
to satisfy me. Jai Gurudev !!!

On 23rd July 2011 we (me, Ram, Vijay) all went to meet Gurudev in late evening. Ram has
a habit of making drum beats by his mouth. On that day he keeps on making such beats
without conscious of he is sitting in Gurudev's room. Gurudev asked Ram what is he
doing, why he is disturbing the silence of the room. Ram said ' Father I prove you I can be
in silent, count it from now to another 30 min, I will be in silence without making such
beats'. Then he remained silent. Just 30 seconds passed Gurudev had a heavy laugh, Ram
also. We did not understand what’s happening. Then Gurudev told us '' see Ram said he
will be silent for 30 mins, but not even crossed 30 secs he made two times drum beats in
his mind''. Ram was surprised and shouted in anxiety ' Daddy i have not made any verbal
beats, only in mind I made the beats twice, how did you catch it. Then Gurudev firmly said
''I am your Antharyami how can you hide things from me, further you try to convert the
drum beats to Sai Bhajan Song to make me think of you are singing ''. This time Ram was
hugging Gurudev like a child and said this is my limitation of vairagya what to do
Gurudeva.

On 30th day of October, 2010 Ramprabakar (Sri Karunya's Disciple) supposed to take his
lunch at Sri Karunya's home. Ram told Gurudev (Sri Karunya) that he is going to
Tambaram to take his things from his old room and will be back to Gurudev’s home
before lunch. But he delayed since the shifting his room took up much time. After shifted
his things to his new house, Ram went to Gurudev’s home for lunch. I was in my home
and took my lunch. After 10 mins Ram returned. I was asking him the reason. He said ''I
buzz the bell at Gurdev’s house. Gurudev only came out and stood near the gate, said his
mother slept. Then I told Gurudev not to disturb his mother for lunch''. Then Gurudev
asked Ram where he would get his lunch. Ram said the lunch is also ready in his home and
returned. Then Gurudev asked Ram to come by 5.15 in the evening. The whole
conversation happened only near the gate. On the same day evening we met Gurudev,
Gurudev was telling off Ram that he didn’t turn up for his lunch. Ram was shocked and
said Gurudev that he came in the afternoon and met him. Gurudev also seemed to be
surprised and said. No it would not be. I was sleeping at that time you mentioned. I woke
up only by 5.15. Ram was stunned and pestering Gurudev to know who was that came

with the appearance of Gurudev and replied to him in the afternoon. Gurudev said I really
don’t know because I was in Kasi right from the afternoon to evening. So I really didn’t
open the door and spoke to you. May be somebody might take up my form and attended
you. Sometime later we got confirmation from Gurudev that the body appeared before
Ram was the subtle or Astral body of Gurudev himself.

On 10th August, 2010 Sri Karunya's mother was going through Gurudev’s diary. In the
diary, Gurudev described his Maha Kali dharshan happened during his childhood to Sri
Bairav (Subtle level Disciple of Sri Karunya) of Kasi. In the middle of the diary, she found a
word "vattril" (வறி
வறி)
வறி) which is irrelevant to the topic and she showed it to Gurudev.
Gurudev said it would be ‘suvattril’(வறி
வறி - tamil word which means ‘wall’) and
agreed the spelling mistake. Since she is keeping on studying, Gurudev did not correct it.
After finished the page she once again gone through the page and surprised the mistake

has been changed to ‘suvattril’(வறி
வறி) even though the diary is with her. She told this
to Gurudev anxiously, Gurudev just smiled and said 'I have no idea'.

During April 2009 Gurudev and me went to Singapore to meet his beloved disciple Sri
Sundar. On 21st of April morning we went to Buddha temple located at China town.
There were idol of Mythreya (future Buddha). We went near the idol and we worshipped
him by joined both palms near our heart. Then I came out, they remained worshipping
Mithreya. After a while I heard Sundar’s voice calling me. I went near them found very
happy. I was asking them what has happened. Then Gurudev open his Palm and showed
me a beautiful violet color flower place in between his palm without his knowledge while
worshipping. We all surprised about the miraculous flower and felt very happy. Then we
went to Lord Subhrahmanyar temple evening. While walking from railway station to
temple I saw yellow color Akshathas (to grant grace yellowish rice spilled on one’s head
who is worshipping) placed on Gurudev’s head. I have told this to Gurudev. He also
surprised and happy. I thought to grant grace for his beloved Son (Gurudev) Lord Sri
Subhrahmanya did this.

On April 7th 2009, we all went to Ram's Sister marriage at Mannagrgudi with our Gurudev
Sri Karunya. From Mayiladuthurail my Gurudev's Childhood friend Mr. Manikandan also
came there later, but did not meet Sri Karunya. In evening after we returned from the
marriage hall, Sri Karunya was sitting at one room of the lodge. His childhood friend Mr.
Manikandan is so anxious to meet him and rushed to the room where he was not found.
He came and ask us, we said we have just seen him sitting in the room. He said 'no i had
not seen him'. We took Manikandan to the room and seen Sri Karunya sitting center of
the cot. Manikandan was surprised and asked Gurudev where were he. Gurudev said for
a long time he was sitting in the room only. All are amazed especially Mr. Manikandan.

This is not the first time we encountered this type of events, during april 2009, the same
kind of event happened in singapore. Sundar and Sri Karunya went to a hotel to have
coffee. Both were served a coffee. Sometime later, people around Sundar in the hotel
stared at him like he is the only one person sitting and speaking with two coffees ordered.
Sundar did not realize what happened after returning room, Sundar was asking Gurudev
why people have looked at him very strangely. Gurudev said " I don't know Sundar for
some time I have conscious of I am sitting with you, sometimes I don't know what’s
happening, I would have gone before anybody who may think and pray me, but this
should not be happened, this will create mess, Ok let me correct it".

On 27th July 2010 Evening more than 10 followers of Gurudev Started to Guruvayoor along
with Gurudev. The next will be Gurudev’s Jayanthi day. All reached Central railway
station with the help of local train. While coming in the local train everybody felt sandal
smelled around them and Gurudev. Then while going to Guruvayoor from central station
again they felt the sandal smell all over their seats around them. We asked Gurudev
about the smell. As usually Gurudev smiled with no reply. Then we reached Guruvayoor
the next day before going to temple we took some photo snaps. We got stunned on
photo Lord Guruvayoorappan has been placed on Gurudev’s forehead. After temple visit
we reached Chennai railway station again we felt the sandal smell. By that time Gurudev
told to us from the journey starts till finish now Lord Guruvayoorappan came along with
us. So all of your smelled his fragrance this is the secret of the sandal smell. All were
happy hearing this.

After met Gurudev in his home, I was returning to my home by train. During the travel I
had seen a poor women with his child. Her appearance showed her intense poverty. I
thought of pay her twenty rupees. But she was not begging anybody for her poverty. I
got ambiguous mind whether she accept the money or decline. If she did that I would be
ashamed. So I was waiting till my station to come. I thought of pay her while I left the
train. In the mean time I prayed Gurudev to make her come and ask me for money.
After some time a 35 years old looking man wearing a blue color checked shirt got in to
train on one station. He was standing near to me for a while. Later he was asking the
poor lady whether she eat anything for the day. She said no. He took out a food parcel
from his bag and gave it to her. I was so happy. The women got down on the next
station. After that I didn’t notice the anonymous man. The same night I called Gurudev
and described the incident. Gurudev told me ’ram you couldn’t identify my voice. It was
me who gave the offering to the poor women and Gurudev told the same words what he
was used in the train. I was amazed couldn’t speak further. Gurudev told me finally
“Where ever Karunyam (mercy) exists Karunya will be there”, because of your
compassionate prayer I had to do that.

On 13th September, 2011 I went to Gurudev’s Home. At the time Gurudev was in
Singapore. So I simply sit and studying some books in Gurudev’s room without doing
meditation. Gurupeetam (wooden plank on which Gurudev sits) was kept at a corner
supported by the wall. Suddenly I heard a sound and looked around. I saw the
Gurupeetam which is supported in the wall stood horizontally without the support of the
wall. I was stunned and further I saw the gurupeetam started shaking heavily. Then I
realized Gurudev has come there to remind meditation. Then I bowed to Gurupeetam
and start meditating. Next day I called Gurudev and told about this. Gurudev said “I was
there but you can’t feel me. If you want to feel me you should do much practice to make
your mind fit enough to see me. So I have no option except to shake the Gurupeetam to
exhibit my presence to you”.

One day i had some thoughts that were disturbing me ... i didn't say a word to anyone . They were
mine.

and

know
those
were
still
there.
Next day in my mobile i had a replied from him. He didn't say a word about you're worry about
...just the reply ... : ) I was again in Peace ...
