Dark ruby-black wine with powerful ripe plum and black cherry fruit on the nose and a rich,
juicy palate of red berries and blue-berries layered with toasty oak spice.
KYBURG MERLOT ~ DEVON VALLEY R 310
Deep, well extracted colour and red berry fruits on the nose. Hints of creamy dark chocolat,
liquorice and quince jelly. Balanced palate with some coffee and toffee character. A good dash
of fruit and wood tannin with a pleasing follow through.

THREE PEAKS PINOTAGE ~ SIMONSBERG R 135
Deep purple core with bright, blue/purple rim. Rich, ripe, full fruited nose with attractive cherry,
berry, bramble nose. Slight smoky hint with edge of spice. Ripe, full fruited mouth with abundant
sweet fruit. Hints of toasty oak with loads of ripe develop-ing flavours.

KLEINE ZALZE PINOTAGE ~ STELLENBOSCH Through blending the different terroirs a subtle and stylish wine were created. The wine shows
a deep red colour with intense plum, mulberry and black fruit flavours.
DIEMERSFONTEIN PINOTAGE ~ WELLINGTON R 250
Dark chocolate with a hint of mint and baked plums on the nose. Ripe subtle tannins create a
wine to be enjoyed young.
SHIRAZ / SYRAH
SWARTLAND WINERY ~ SWARTLAND R40 / R150
This particular Shiraz reflects the area’s unique terroir. Complex range of eucalyptus, spice,
peppercorn and granadilla flavours is supported by subtle smoky undertones from eight months
maturation in French oak.

Classic, elegant and layered with concentrated red fruit and accents of mint, pencil shavings
and oak spice. It shows a powerful fruit expression on the mid palate with savoury mineral and
smokey undertones and well integrated cedary oak nuances.
KYBURG 2008 ~ DEVON VALLEY R 310
A wine with a deep red, rich concentrated colour. On the nose are black berries, liquorice and
coffee bean notes. As this full bodied wine opens up and develops, one is left with a long lasting
spicy finish on the palate. Very good use of oak results in a superb balance between acidity,
fruit and wood tannins.

THREE PEAKS CANTATA ~ SIMONSBERG R 35 / R 130
Deep, opaque core with bright, tight blue/purple rim. Very attractive nose with gorgeous, ripe,
red berry fruits mingled with toasty, smoky notes. Rich, deep, well flavoured mouth with loads
of ripe mulberry, plum and dark cherry flavours.
KLEINE ZALZE CABERNET / MERLOT~ STELLENBOSCH R 185
The three different varieties were carefully blended and show rich, ripe dark plum Cabernet fruit
on the palate with savoury, velvety, gentle tannins of the Merlot. This deep piled forest fruit blend
are fuller in structure due to the slower fermentation time and a longer skin maturation period.
CHOCOLATE BLOCK ~ FRANSCHHOEK R 450
Chocolate Block is a blend of Syrah (70%); Cabernet Sauvignon (13%); Grenache Noir (10%);
Cinsault (6%) and Viognier (1%). This wine is the perfect example of identifying “undiscovered”
parcels of vineyard with amazing potential and utilizing it to unleash its world class quality.
The Syrah and Viognier fruit come from Malmesbury (Swartland) with its unique growing
conditions and dryland farmed vineyards to ensure it deep-rooted vines and therefore optimal
concentration of colour, flavour and tannin structure.
WARWICK TRILOGY CABERNET / MERLOT ~ STELLENBOSCH R 550
Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and around 10% Merlot. 20 months French oak, never
more than 50%. Big plush nose, with that very characteristic herbal note that Mike celebrates
as part of the Warwick terroir. Strong minty and eucalypt character. A touch of rubber, but the
thick, sweet, ripe fruit powers through.

An elegant, smooth, well balanced wine with fine citrus, pear and ripe apple flavours. The
Stellenbosch wine with its strong complex flavours on the palate were carefully blended with
the lime, mineral Robertson wine thus giving a wine with a good balanced structure.

This fruit-driven Chardonnay comes alive with citrus and lime flavours on the nose. Dried peaches,
vanilla and subtle wood flavours carries through to the palate of this well balanced wine.
WARWICK FIRST LADY UNWOODED ~ STELLENBOSCH

On the nose it has subtle citrus, pineapple and peach flavours, with lovely crisp green apple. The
fruit flavours follow through on to the palate, with rich and generous citrus and peach finish.

Banana-plum flavours from Pinotage on the nose, with a soft well-structured palate that lingers
at the finish. Its colour is vibrant onion skin.

This dry Rosé shows a pale salmon hued colour, which point towards the deep, bright, vibrant
colour of the grapes.
SWARTLAND CUVEE BRUT NV ~ SWARTLAND R 35 / R 210
Stones have no flavour that they impart on wine - they simply make the soil less. If there is less
soil the vine produces more con-centrated fruit, the same happens with old vines, also when
vines are planted in high density. As the rock opposes the vine so does a nearby plant; and age
limit growth and crop. Life from Stone has the good fortune to have all these 3 concentrating
factors in its favour — thus the unmatched complexity of a great wine.

This muscat-scented semi-sweet wine holds a combination of tropical fruit flavours with

The 2013 vintage shows a wonderful experience of tropical, green fig, melon and asparagus
flavours. The wine is full with typical cultivar flavours on the nose and ends with a clean, fresh

The wine has a pale lemon yellow colour and a bouquet reminiscent of green figs with hints of

The nose starts with a hint of Christmas cake and is followed up with nutty oak with integrated
vanilla, chocolate and blackberry fruit characters. The palate is full with balanced tannins which
give the wine a firm and lingering palate.

The wine shows a bright red colour with an intense deep berry tint. Strong cherry, herbal
aromas with chalky dry tannins on the palate. The wood adds a good, soft, clean complexity
with the spicy fruit well integrated.
BOUCHARD FINLAYSON 2011 ~ HERMANUS R 550
This bottling reflects lots of plum and wild berry fruit, under layered by spicy French Oak
upholding a gracious and persistent tannin structure.
