You arrive mid-afternoon and begin with a visit through the Billy Graham Library. See one man’s amazing journey from the pastures and gravel roads of North Carolina to “big tents” and arenas in America’s largest cities. You will travel the milestones of Mr. Graham’s lifelong mission throughout the world to stadiums, on television and in the press. Tonight see why NarroWay Productions is the premier Christian theater of the South! Take in a delicious dinner and a hearty serving of Southern hospitality as every audience is greeted and served by the NarroWay cast. Live animals, talented actors, original scripts, inspiring music and a delicious meal themed after the show are all part of the NarroWay experience. Day 2: A Day of Languages After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, get a breath of fresh air while soaring through the trees at Canaan Zipline Canopy Tour. Experience the unique opportunity to ride ziplines through the trees on a network of cables and sky-bridges suspended high above the forest floor, criss-crossing the beautiful Catawba River, all while learning about interesting highlights of the area. Next, travel down the river to enjoy the Catawba Indian Cultural Center where you will experience native drumming and dancing. The Catawba Indians are the only federally recognized tribe in South Carolina. The Center preserves, protects, promotes and maintains the rich cultural heritage of the Catawba People. Enjoy a Native American meal and learn some of the native tongue as taught by the Ye Iswa, “The People of the River.” After lunch and a lesson from the Catawbas visit JAARS, an organization committed to helping translate God’s Word into more than 2,200 languages worldwide. You will tour two museums located on the property. The Museum of the Alphabet traces the history of alphabets and other writing systems. The Mexico-Cárdenas Museum displays artifacts, costumes, photographs and folk art that illustrates early Bible translation and cross-cultural work in Mexico.
