Winter Shares: Each pick up will include: Assorted frozen veggies grown by us, prepared and frozen by Liquid Lunch Creations (sweet corn, diced peppers, cubed eggplant, broccoli, cauliflower approx. 1lb packages of veggies ) Assorted dried beans, root veggies, brassicas, and or mustard type greens (quantities dependent on weather and time of season- beets, carrots, turnips, potatoes, cabbage, brussel sprouts, kale, collards, asian mix, leeks) 1-2 Specialty items each pick up: 24oz jar of our marinara sauce, 24oz jar of our “just crushed” plum tomatoes, 16 oz jar of our salsa, popcorn, pesto, or prepared collards greens 2 heads of hydroponic lettuce for each pick up grown by Tom Giammattei from Prospect How much does it cost? One size share: $100 for farm stand pick up *additional cost for drop off locations - see enrollment form for cost by location How long does it run/ What are the dates? 5 weeks of weekly pick ups: week of April 26th – May 23rd 2016 Main Season Shares: May include depending on weather and harvest ability: In June, crops are usually lettuce, scallions, dandelion greens, escarole, Broccoli Rabe (or Raab), some herbs, peas, beets with greens, collards, spinach, Swiss chard, radishes, and more! As the season goes by we pick more and more. Greenhouse cucumbers, squash, pickles, beans, broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower all start to being harvested by the end of June. In July our many varieties of field tomatoes, onions, peppers, eggplants, snap beans, potatoes, garlic and of course our sweet corn are ready! Fall brings Leeks, Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Turnip Greens, Turnips, Kale, Brussels Sprouts, Radishes, Lettuce, Spinach, Broccoli, cauliflower, and Winter Squash. How much does it cost?
