Students must be evaluated in each of the criteria listed. Attach current CAPP 1. Has the student demonstrated sincere active involvement in the BFA degree program? 0 1 Student is engaged and participates in class activities, contributes ideas and thoughts, and stays on task without constant reminders. 2 Student participates in BFA co-curricular activities. Does the student qualify for induction into Alpha Psi Omega? Student has completed THEA 220-221, THEA 110-111, and one of the following: THEA 150, THEA 360, THEA 330, THEA 410, THEA 320, DANC 120. 2. Has the student demonstrated the ability to adequately progress through the BFA degree program curriculum? 0 1 Does the student have a minimum 2.00 GPA in general education courses completed? (not including arts aesthetics courses) 2 Does the student demonstrate familiarity with basic delivery techniques and language choices in support of effective oral and written communication? Has the student needed to repeat general education courses because of poor performance? Has the student dropped courses repeatedly because of poor performance? 3. Has the student demonstrated an attitude conducive to continued advanced learning and development as an artist? 0 1 Student is positive about activities in class and outside of class. Student refrains from spreading mixed feelings among peers. Student refrains from unproductive criticism of classmates. 2 Student approaches works of creative expression with openness and interest. Student asks questions and demonstrates intellectual inquisitiveness. 4. Has the student demonstrated above average listening skills? 0 1 Student endeavors to carefully listen to others when they speak. Student is always respectful to others when they speak. 2 Student takes correction and advice and utilizes that information to make improvements in their work, advance personal development, and to facilitate progress through the program curriculum.
