How to save an iMovie to a Windows computer
Step 1: Put your iMovie in the Camera Roll on your iPad.

Create an iMovie using the iMovie app on your iPad.

When your iMovie is finished, select the upload icon


Select the iMovie Theater icon
to export your iMovie to your Camera Roll
Check to make sure your iMovie appears in the Video folder of your Camera Roll.

Step 2: Transfer your iMovie to your Windows computer.

Download the Photo Transfer software to your Windows computer.

Open the Photo Transfer App in your iPad and also the Photo Transfer icon on your
Windows computer.
On your computer, select the Discover Devices icon on the left side of the screen.
Under Discover Devices, select your iPad from the list.
 To be sure of your iPad name, go to Settings, About, & Name.
The images in Photos app on your iPad will now appear on your computer screen.
Locate your movie on the computer screen in your Videos folder and select.
Select the Download Selected arrow at the bottom of the screen.
Select the folder where you want your iMovie to be downloaded.
Be patient, the download will take some time.
Where the download is complete, your movie will be in the designated folder.
Option #2 – iPad cable (iTunes is required on your Windows device)

Connect you iPad to your computer using the 30-pin cable provided with your iPad.




On your computer, open the Start Menu
and select the Computer icon.
Your iPad should be listed under portable devices.
Double click on your iPad’s name, then Internal Storage, then DCIM.
Locate the video that you want to transfer to your computer and then copy and paste it to
the designated folder on your computer.
