‘Jargon Buster’ for Examination Entries:
Candidate Number A unique four-digit number for each candidate. This must be remembered and
candidates are required to enter this on each exam paper.
‘Cash In’
Usually denoted by ‘SA’ on the Exam Entry Code. A ‘Cash In’ turns a set of
individual results (such as Units or Controlled Assessments) into an overall
award or grade. Candidates must check that they have a ‘cash in’ code for each
subject that they are entered for. No Cash In = No Result.
